This Nurse
Aide Program is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing and meets all
curriculum requirements to take the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program
to become Certified as a Nurse Aide.
Offering
Nurse Aide Classes
Evening/Weekend Program will meet Monday evenings from 5:30-9:30pm.
Wednesday by appointment as needed. Clinical Skills Lab hours are included
in this time period. Every Saturday for clinical training from 8:30AM-5PM.
Classroom hours on weekends are 9AM-5PM.
The class
will be completed in approximately 9-10 weeks
American Red
Cross Certification is a available, Cost of First Aid, CPR, AED class is
$50.00.
Tuition: $865.00 ($200.00
registration deposit mailed in with application in the form of a money
order made payable to Kathleen May. $665.00 due on first day unless
other arrangements are made). Paypal is also accepted, send payment to
maykathleen@hotmail.com
Tuition covers all instructional materials, nurse aide text, nurse aide
handbook, syllabus and name tag. Please note a $25.00 service fee will be
applied for payment plans.
Students may
purchase uniform from school for $35.00 (Navy blue scrub pant and top).
Accepting
applications for program on an ongoing basis, classes scheduled
approximately every 12 weeks.
Will meet with prospective students by appointment.
Classes fill up fast, students who meet criteria for admission will be
accepted on a first come, first served basis.
Student uniform top/pants are purchased by student. Student provides
watch with second hand, navy blue uniform pants and white leather shoes
(closed toe and heel).
